BBC 1's major new series 'Surviving the Iron Age' was filmed exclusively at and around Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort in Pembrokeshire. Castell Henllys was home to the volunteers for seven long weeks while they tried to survive conditions similar to those of over two thousand years ago. |

Castell Henllys is an Iron Age Hillfort where roundhouses and other buildings have been reconstructed on their original foundations. The Hillfort is sited within the beautiful and historic landscape of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in west Wales, Britain's only coastal National Park. |
